DPR convicts 99 people on charges of espionage and high treason since 2014

Donetsk, Jul 10 – DAN. DPR courts have convicted 99 people over high treason and espionage in favor of Ukraine since the outbreak of Donbass conflict, the DPR Supreme Court’s press service told DAN.

“Since the outbreak of the armed conflict, DPR courts reviewed 87 criminal cases convicting 99 people of crimes under Articles 320 and 321 DPR Criminal Code (High Treason and Espionage),”the report reads.

In the first half of 2020, courts issued 12 sentences for 15 people.

Another 16 Ukrainian troops have been charged with terrorist attacks perpetrated in the DPR since 2014. *ot
